Jeff Tankersley
as Johnny Cash…has been a huge fan of "Johnny Cash" and
performing as the "Man in Black" for several years. Growing up his dad would play Johnny Cash records all the time. As he got older he found himself not just listening to the music but relating to the stories that were told in his songs. Jeff feels so blessed to be able to have the talent to entertain Johnny's fans and take them back for just a short time during his performance. He is a local hit in his home town it is very rare to go anywhere that someone doesn't yell "Hey Cash" and tells him how much they enjoy his show. With performances from the Bristol Paramont.VA, Maggie valley.NC, Legends in Concert.SC, Memphis,TN, Cherry Valley, AK, Pigeon Forge,TN, Nashville,TN, Maryland, Illinois even the infamous "Carter Family Fold", he has performed with Ben and Marty Haggard, Ashley Campbell, Sammy Kershaw, Tommy Cash and so many talented entertainers. Jeff is truly one of the best Johnny Cash tribute artists.
Frank Perry
as Waylon Jennings…is a singer songwriter and bass guitarist that hails from East Tennessee with 40 plus years of experience. Frank has won numerous singing and talent contest and has appeared on the Nashville network. Frank has opened for numerous Nashville Acts such as Hoyt Axton, Randy Parton and Alan Jackson just to name a few. Frank has played a wide variety of music from gospel, bluegrass, classic rock and country music. Frank currently plays in and is the lead singer for two local bands in the Tri-Cities. The SHOOTER BAND & MEMORY LAYNE and he is really looking forward to The Highwaymen tribute show.
Larry Walsh
as Willie Nelson..is a singer/song writer from Piney Flats, TN. He has been in several bands through the years and is currently performing a tribute act as Willie Nelson and Don Williams. That started at a band rehearsal in the early 80’s. “Always on My Mind” had been selected as single of the year. To get a laugh, he did a line of it in the Willie voice. It was so close the band insisted he do the whole song and more as the
legendary performer.
Alan Tedders
as Kris Kristofferson…a stage veteran of 40 plus years. Alan is better known in the US and Canada for his spot- Willie Nelson impersonation and has toured the Southern US sang and acted in many theaters. Alan is a talented song writer and performer. He has taken on the role of the legendary Kris Kristofferson with Silver Stallion this being the first tribute to The Highwaymen with all four members. He enjoys performing and has no plans to slow down.
